Notice

© 1970 Aiaia Tarot. All rights reserved. The Aiaia Tarot deck — all 78 card illustrations, the card names and numbering system, the written symbolism, upright and reversed meanings, Circe's counsel, affirmations, the companion guidebook, the spread guides, and the design, layout and writing of this website — are original works protected by copyright and, where applicable, by trade dress and trademark law.

What you may do

Buying a digital product grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download it, read it, print one copy for your own use, and use it in your own private practice. You may share a single card image on social media for a reading of your own, provided the credit "Aiaia Tarot" and a link to aiaiatarot.com stay visible.

What you may not do

  • Resell, sublicense, gift, or redistribute any file you purchased.
  • Upload the guidebook, spread guides, or card images to file-sharing sites, Telegram/Discord archives, print-on-demand platforms, or marketplaces such as Etsy, Amazon KDP, or Gumroad.
  • Print or manufacture physical decks, cards, prints, apparel, or other merchandise from the artwork.
  • Use the artwork, meanings, or text to train, fine-tune, or prompt machine-learning or generative AI systems, or to build a derivative deck, app, or dataset.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter copyright notices, watermarks, or embedded file metadata.
  • Scrape the site or bulk-download images by automated means.

Commercial & professional readers

Reading professionally with a deck you bought is welcome — charging clients for readings you perform yourself is fine. Anything beyond that (workshops built on the guidebook text, reproducing card images in a book, course, or product, or bundling the deck with your own offering) needs written permission. Ask; licences are usually granted, and usually free for small independent practitioners.

Printing partners

Print files supplied to a manufacturer are provided for the sole purpose of fulfilling a specific order placed by Aiaia Tarot. No rights of reproduction, display, resale, sample use, or portfolio use are transferred, and files must be deleted on completion of the order.

Enforcement & tracing

Purchased files may carry a buyer-identifying watermark and embedded metadata, and downloads are logged against the purchasing account. If a file appears in public, it can be traced to the account it came from. Infringing accounts lose access without refund, and we pursue takedowns and, where warranted, legal remedies.

Report infringement

If you find Aiaia Tarot artwork or writing being sold or shared without permission, tell us — it genuinely helps. Send the URL, a screenshot, and where you found it via the contact route on this site, and we'll issue a takedown. Rights holders who believe content here infringes their own work can reach us the same way; we respond to properly formed notices promptly.

Requesting permission

For press, collaborations, retail wholesale, translations, or any use not covered above, get in touch with what you'd like to use, where, and for how long. A short written licence keeps everyone safe.
